Although the US government requires laundry instructions to be on sleeping bags, it may not be the best idea to wash your sleeping bag.  If you wash a bag, there will always be a certain amount of insulation migration. Sometimes it isn’t noticeable, other times it will result in obvious cold spots in your sleeping bag. This issue is not covered under warranty, as it is not a defect in materials or workmanship. Never put your sleeping bag in a washing machine or dryer. If you must wash your sleeping bag, hand wash the bag in a bathtub, roll the bag up to squeeze most of the water out, then line dry, but not in direct sunlight. Gently fluff by hand.
