Although the US government requires laundry instructions to be on sleeping bags, it may not be the best idea to wash your sleeping bag. If you wash a bag, there will always be a certain amount of insulation migration. Sometimes it isn’t noticeable, other times it will result in obvious cold spots in your sleeping bag.
